Esto demuestra el compromiso del sector privado y los emprendedores a movilizarse por acciones que propendan por la sostenibilidad y protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente.<\/p><p>\u201cEste premio tiene un significado muy importante para nosotros porque demuestra el compromiso que tiene la Universidad con estos procesos de<\/p><p>sostenibilidad, no solamente ambiental sino econ\u00f3mico, social. Es decir que nos comprometemos con la sostenibilidad y creemos en ella y que seguimos trabajando para mantenernos en una categor\u00eda m\u00e1xima de los premios de Corantioquia\u201d, expres\u00f3 Hilda Palacio Betancourt, docente de los pregrados de Biolog\u00eda y Ecolog\u00eda de la Universidad y quien recibi\u00f3 el premio a nombre de la instituci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>El Sello de Sostenibilidad ratifica el compromiso social y ambiental de la Universidad CES y sus campos de pr\u00e1ctica con acciones como aprovechamiento de aguas lluvias y superficiales para riego de zonas verdes y uso en sistemas sanitarios, generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda 100% renovable a trav\u00e9s de sistema fotovoltaico, transformaci\u00f3n de metano (CH4) en energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, enriquecimiento del Arboretum CES con la siembra de nuevos \u00e1rboles asociados a los beneficios ecosist\u00e9micos que estos generan, protecci\u00f3n de la fauna silvestre que visita las diferentes sedes, valoraci\u00f3n de residuos s\u00f3lidos a trav\u00e9s de la separaci\u00f3n y transformaci\u00f3n de residuos org\u00e1nicos en compost, coment\u00f3 Hern\u00e1n Dar\u00edo Giraldo, ingeniero ambiental de la Universidad CES.<\/p><p>La Universidad CES recibi\u00f3 el Sello en la categor\u00eda AAA, esto significa que cumpli\u00f3 entre un 90% y 100% de los requisitos para la evaluaci\u00f3n y asignaci\u00f3n del mismo. Esta distinci\u00f3n destaca el compromiso en la gesti\u00f3n ambiental de las empresas en sus procesos productivos. El reconocimiento cuenta con una vigencia de 1 a\u00f1o y podr\u00e1 ser renovado a solicitud de la entidad interesada.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
