class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Redacci\u00f3n Oficina de Comunicaciones<\/strong><\/p><p>La Universidad CES, por medio de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia y el Centro de Veterinaria y Zootecnia (CVZ), operar\u00e1 el Centro Integral de Bienestar Animal (CEIBA) de Rionegro, mediante un convenio de asociaci\u00f3n suscrito con el municipio del Oriente antioque\u00f1o.<\/p><p>El convenio tiene por objeto aunar esfuerzos administrativos, log\u00edsticos, financieros, acad\u00e9micos e investigativos para realizar acciones en pro de la protecci\u00f3n y el bienestar de la fauna dom\u00e9stica convencional y no convencional, sin propietario y\/o en condiciones de vulnerabilidad, adem\u00e1s de la operaci\u00f3n del CEIBA.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Consideramos que es la oportunidad para expandirnos hacia el Oriente antioque\u00f1o. Aunque somos conocidos en la regi\u00f3n, en esta zona no hab\u00edamos tenido la oportunidad de llegar. Adicionalmente tenemos una gran oportunidad para articularnos y fortalecer con la formaci\u00f3n de estudiantes, realizar investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollar proyectos de innovaci\u00f3n en todos los frentes (bienestar animal, biodiversidad, biom\u00e9dica, etc)<\/em>\u201d, expres\u00f3 Bibiana Correa Giraldo, coordinadora de proyectos de la Facultad.<\/p><p>Para el cumplimiento de los objetivos trazados en el convenio, se establecieron diferentes actividades distribuidas en grandes l\u00edneas estrat\u00e9gicas. Atenci\u00f3n integral de la fauna, construcci\u00f3n del Centro emplumado, desarrollo de estrategias comunicacionales y educativas, fortalecimiento a la promoci\u00f3n de la adopci\u00f3n, apoyo a las acciones de rescate, fortalecimiento de albergues y hogares de paso y el programa de esterilizaciones masivas o control natal de caninos y felinos son algunas de ellas.<\/p><p>Por su parte, desde la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia CES se dispondr\u00e1 de estudiantes de rotaci\u00f3n y se realizar\u00e1n las acciones acad\u00e9micas e investigativas a que d\u00e9 lugar en el municipio de Rionegro, en favor del bienestar y protecci\u00f3n animal. Adem\u00e1s, desde el CVZ se prestar\u00e1n los servicios m\u00e9dico-veterinarios para los animales que se benefician de este programa.<\/p><p>Inicialmente este convenio est\u00e1 enfocado en la atenci\u00f3n de los animales de diferentes especies, pero en especial, caninos y felinos. Por ahora el alcance est\u00e1 en zona rural y urbana del municipio de Rionegro. Sin embargo, esperan llegar a m\u00e1s municipios de esa subregi\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-23760ea3
