Esta iniciativa fue liderada por el \u00e1rea de Sostenibilidad de la Universidad CES para beneficiar a los vendedores ambulantes y sus familias ante la imposibilidad de trabajar en la calle por la cuarentena.<\/p><p>Un total de 3.936 personas, entre los vendedores ambulantes y sus familias, se beneficiaron de esta iniciativa, que naci\u00f3 en marzo de 2020 y que prioriz\u00f3 a madres cabeza de hogar y adultos mayores que se ganaban el sustento diario en las calles.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Fueron un total de 6 mercados por cada familia, con un valor de 100 mil pesos cada uno, entregados quincenalmente a lo largo de tres meses. Lo bonito fue la posibilidad de movilizaci\u00f3n que logr\u00f3, articulando a la sociedad civil, con la academia y las organizaciones<\/em>\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Daniel Ram\u00edrez V\u00e1squez, coordinador de Gesti\u00f3n Social del \u00e1rea de Sostenibilidad.<\/p><p>El coordinador a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que <em>Lazos que brindan esperanza<\/em> se pens\u00f3 inicialmente para 800 vendedores ambulantes y sus familias, pero por la buena acogida que tuvo, se puedo extender a 924.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Yo les agradezco de todo coraz\u00f3n, quisiera felicitarlos por esta labor humanitaria que han hecho. Ha sido muy gratificante. Que Dios les bendiga y les siga multiplicando lo que est\u00e1n haciendo por nosotros<\/em>\u201d, expres\u00f3 Germ\u00e1n Alonso Zapata Garc\u00eda, uno de los vendedores beneficiados.<\/p><p>Un total de 27 empresas vinculadas y entidades p\u00fablicas como el Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional, adem\u00e1s de cientos de aportes particulares, lograron canalizar los recursos necesarios y el apoyo para las entregas de estos mercados. Algunos fueron llevados hasta las casas de las familias y otros repartidos en puntos fijos de Medell\u00edn en diferentes jornadas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
