class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El Centro de la Ciencia y la Investigaci\u00f3n Farmac\u00e9utica (CECIF) est\u00e1 de cumplea\u00f1os, ya son 23 a\u00f1os en los que esta instituci\u00f3n ha estado realizando investigaciones con productos farmac\u00e9uticos, alimentos y cosm\u00e9ticos, siempre en alianza con el sector industrial y apoyado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>El CECIF que est\u00e1 ubicado en la sede Sabaneta de nuestra Universidad presta diferentes servicios, algunos de ellos son el dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de productos, las pruebas de control de la calidad y los estudios de estabilidad y\/o vida \u00fatil de \u00a0farmac\u00e9uticos, cosm\u00e9ticos y alimentos, seg\u00fan OMS (Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud); estudios de bioequivalencia <em>InVitro<\/em>; estudios de bioequivalencia y biodisponibilidad <em>InVivo<\/em>; ensayos de eficacia y seguridad cosm\u00e9tica, tambi\u00e9n es lugar de pr\u00e1ctica para estudiantes de pregrado, maestr\u00eda y doctorado de nuestra Universidad.<\/p><p>Para saber un poco m\u00e1s de lo que ha hecho el CECIF en estos 23 a\u00f1os, el Bolet\u00edn Enlaces habl\u00f3 con Diego Fernando Rojas Vahos, director general del Centro de investigaci\u00f3n y Sol Beatriz Castro Arango, directora t\u00e9cnica del mismo.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>En estos 23 a\u00f1os desde el CECIF hemos realizado aportes al Sistema de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la formulaci\u00f3n, administraci\u00f3n y ejecuci\u00f3n de proyectos presentados conjuntamente con grupos de investigaci\u00f3n de universidades, emprendedores o industrias del sector farmac\u00e9utico, cosm\u00e9tico y alimentario que han permitido hacer investigaci\u00f3n, dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de productos, mejoras a productos y procesos que han generado beneficios en el sector salud\u201d<\/em>, destac\u00f3 el Sr. Rojas.<\/p><p>Adem\u00e1s, la directora t\u00e9cnica habl\u00f3 sobre los estudios que se llevan a cabo con las industrias del sector farmac\u00e9utico.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Desde el centro llevamos a cabo estudios de eficacia y seguridad cosm\u00e9tica y estudios de bioequivalencia y biodisponibilidad en medicamentos, realizando pruebas de control de la calidad que aseguran la efectividad de las materias primas, productos en proceso y terminados\u201d<\/em>, coment\u00f3 la Sra. Castro.<\/p><p>Durante este momento de contingencia de salud que estamos viviendo; al CECIF el INVIMA le otorg\u00f3 un permiso provisional para la fabricaci\u00f3n de gel antibacterial y este se encarg\u00f3, por lo tanto, de la fabricaci\u00f3n de aproximadamente 10.000 geles antibacteriales para distribuir en las sedes y apoyar los protocolos de bioseguridad que implemento nuestra
