class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad CES y la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Antioquia enviaron a los municipios de Puerto Triunfo y Puerto Nare, en la subregi\u00f3n del Magdalena Medio, una misi\u00f3n m\u00e9dica con 27 bultos de alimento para gato, 58 bultos de alimento de perro y distintos medicamentos para tratar los animales en situaci\u00f3n de calle, afectados por el asilamiento obligatorio.<\/p><p><em>\u201cLa Corporaci\u00f3n Antioquia Presente y la Facultad y en articulaci\u00f3n con el Diputado \u00c1lvaro M\u00fanera, unieron esfuerzos para llevar ayuda humanitaria al municipio de Puerto Triunfo el d\u00eda jueves 16 de abril de 2020. Durante la Jornada se entreg\u00f3 una tonelada de alimento para animales y se realiz\u00f3 atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dico veterinaria en la zona a animales que lo necesitaban\u201d,<\/em> detall\u00f3 el Dr. Jhon Didier Ruiz Buitrago, decano de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad CES.<\/p><p>Las atenciones se brindaron el 16 de abril de forma gratuita. Pudieron tratarse m\u00e1s de 20 animales, donde por motivos de salud se le tuvo que aplicar la eutanasia a un perro y fueron trasladados a Medell\u00edn una gata por insuficiencia renal y una perra con un tumor ven\u00e9reo transmisible.<\/p><p><em>\u201cLo primero que hicimos al llegar fue identificar los animales que estaban en peores condiciones para empezar los procedimientos con ellos. Aunque nuestro foco eran los animales callejeros, cuando los habitantes del sector empezaron a ver lo que hac\u00edamos, empezaron a llevar a sus perros y gatos para que nosotros los trat\u00e1ramos\u201d,<\/em> se\u00f1al\u00f3 Diego Zuluaga Araque, docente de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia de nuestra Universidad.<\/p><p>Personal m\u00e9dico del Centro de Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la U (CVZ) se encarg\u00f3 de recibir el mismo d\u00eda a los animales trasladados de estos municipios. All\u00ed fueron evaluados y al siguiente d\u00eda ya se encontraban estables en espera de ex\u00e1menes. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
